When celebrating our 15th anniversary, we will make us extra visible during the festival in July. For this we have engaged the young, Norwegian string quartet Sonoro.

The quartet will hold several mini concerts outside the official program. Although the concerts will be announced in advance, our aim is to meet the audience where they are. In addition to markets, shopping malls, cafes and restaurants, we hope the weather allows us to announce concerts both high and low outside as well.

Please let us know if you would like the quartet for your neighborhood this summer.

In addition, Sonoro will attend the breakfast concert and the final concert in collaboration with the pianist Georgy Tchaidze.

Sonoro string quartet was created in 2018 and consists of Victoria Lewis, Martha-Pil Neumer, Tuva Odland and Hedda Aadland. They are all studying at Barratt Dues young talent
program, and Edvard Munch high school. They have Kari Ravnan, cellist in the Oslo Philharmonic orchestra as their teacher.

The quartet is a part of Oslo Quartet Series, young
quartet program and have played for famous string quartets, such as Juilliard String Quartet and Quator Ebéne. They have also played masterclasses for many musicians such as Henning Kraggerud, Atle Sponberg and Leif Ove Andsnes.

As chamber musicians have the members won several prizes and held big concerts in Norway, and abroad.
