Do you remember the doll Rosenstjert and Minken Fosheim’s series «The fairy tale about…»? Here is “The Fairy Tale about Beethoven” – with Rosenstjert and Isa Katharina Gericke together with Arctic Philharmonic musicians. Gericke then stepped into the performance «The Fairy Tale of Telemann», in Minken Fosheims sick leave, was to be shown during the Oslo International Church Festival in 2018, and which many remember Fosheim passed away later that year. Now she comes to do “The Fairy Tale of Beethoven”, based on Minken Fosheims book of the same name. With her is puppet player Helene Byhring, who has more than 20 years of experience with children and theater and teaches at Minken Fosheim’s Children’s Theater. There will be both fun and useful stories and lots of beautiful music the composer’s anniversary year. In 2020, it will be 250 years since Ludwig van Beethoven was born. Isa Katharina Gericke has also been a puppeteer at the National Theater and is here now – like her it was with Minken Fosheim – with the puppet Baron von Rosenstjert. In the Beethoven year, we in the Arctic Philharmonic have entered into a good collaboration with Isa Katharina Gericke and Helene Byhring, and together we have developed the performance «The fairy tale about Beethoven». We follow all applicable safety measures and guidelines accordingly Covid-19, so that the audience will have a safe concert experience.
