In connection with “Førjulseventyret” in Henningsvær, two daytime concerts will be held at Galleri Lofoten during the festival.
Classic November light is located in Henningsvær. Both staff and musicians live here during the week. In the summer there are also concerts in Henningsvær Church where the festival also has its own Steinway & Sons grand piano standing.
During Klassisk Novemberlys there will be no concerts in the church – which will still be used as a rehearsal room for the musicians. On the other hand, there is a collaboration with Førjulseventyret which is arranged at the same time in Henningsvær.
“Førjulseventyret” is arranged from the beginning of November until Christmas. Here everyone has the opportunity to visit the fishing village’s many small shops, cafes, galleries and restaurants. There is also a separate rebus race that is suitable for both young and old.
Most shops and galleries are open Wednesday-Sunday between 11.00 and 16.00. Fridays and Saturdays it is open until 18.00. Restaurants and accommodation have their own opening hours. There is a separate program on the weekends.
On Saturday 14 November at 13.00, there will be a mini concert at Galleri Lofoten under the auspices of the festival. Here, the Engegård Quartet plays classical popular music for a short hour. It will of course be possible to buy both cakes and coffee in the cafe.
Sunday 15 November at 10.00 there is a breakfast concert at Galleri Lofoten under the auspices of the festival. This has become a tradition during the festival. Here the audience and the musicians meet over a breakfast and an informal program. Here there is room for both tears and laughter over classical tones. Maybe the best way to start a Sunday in November.
Due to infection control, there is limited space for both concerts.
